Services for children and young people
West Mercia Rape & Sexual Abuse Support Centre (WMRSASC) provides a confidential service for children and young people aged 5 years and over. You can contact us if you have experienced any form of sexual abuse or touching or are worried about something.
All our workers are specially trained and are experienced in listening and talking to children and young people. We know it takes a lot of courage to contact us and we will not judge you or think badly of you, because of anything you might want to talk about.
We know it can be hard to talk about things that have hurt or upset you and you might not know what to say. You can take as much time as you need to talk, and we will support you as much as we can. You don’t have to talk about anything that you don’t want to.
We are a private and confidential service. This means that what you say stays between you and us. The only time we would say something is if we thought that you, or someone else, was in danger of being seriously hurt.
We have a range of different services that can help you, depending on what you want.
We will always try and help you as much as we can, sometimes it might be that another organisation is better able to help you. If we think this is true, we will tell you and help you contact them.
