Pathfinder – specialist support for survivors

Thank you for sharing that with us.

If you’re experiencing mental health difficulties alongside the impact of sexual violence or abuse, our Pathfinder service may be able to help.

Pathfinder is a partnership between WMRSASC and Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. It offers specialist support for adults aged 18 and over who have experienced sexual violence and have complex mental health needs.

What support is available?

Depending on your individual circumstances, support may include:

  • Peer support groups: A series of 10 weekly sessions offering opportunities to connect with other survivors in a supportive setting.
  • Heal and Thrive: A 12-week group programme exploring the impact of sexual violence and strategies to support wellbeing and recovery.
  • One-to-one support: Individual support focused on emotional wellbeing, stabilisation and recovery, which may include psychoeducation, advocacy or counselling.
  • Specialist psychological assessments: Assessments provided by NHS psychologists where appropriate.

What happens next?

If you’d like to find out whether Pathfinder could be right for you, please contact the team. They can explain the service and discuss the support that may be available.
