    Testimonials

    Delegate Testimonial

How many times do new jobs/roles begin with a load of mandatory training courses which can feel irrelevant and disconnected to the job you’ve been selected to do? Thankfully, this is not the case with the training in preparation to work with survivors of sexual violence. The individual courses making up the qualification are interesting, engaging and entirely relevant to work. The components challenge your assumptions both on a practical and an emotional level and give a good grounding in both. The trainers are experienced in the work so are capable of giving insightful feedback during the courses.

    Delegate Testimonial

I attended all five courses that make up the Sexual Violence Practitioner certificate qualification. I found all subjects relevant and informative and am grateful this was part of my role requirement. Conversations and topics on these courses have had me thinking and reflecting for months after completion. The course facilitators delivered engaging content and equally encouraged participation and engagement from delegates.  After completion I feel more equipped and informed to engage with the clients I see. I am more confident in my role, and I hope that clients feel that as a result they are working with a professional who is competent and knowledgeable in all aspects of sexual violence.

I am grateful for their training and feel I am a better practitioner having completed it.

The Tutors were really knowledgeable and on hand for any queries or questions throughout all the courses. I found the content interesting and though provoking and although I am a student counsellor, I was supported and encouraged throughout and the whole experience for each course was great. I would highly recommend this course to others, even if they were not looking to specialise in this area, as it covers everything that is needed to support a survivor.
